Team Belgium announced their MXON team yesterday at the International Motocross race in Mol. The team consist of Jago Geerts, Liam Everts, Lucas Coenen & Sacha Coenen. Jago will ride in the MX1 class. Jago is currently injured but will soon be back behind the gate. He will most likely not get the MX2 championship in his final 250 year because of bad luck and injuries. Last year Geerts also rode the 450 at the MXON and he finished second in moto 1, before the likes of Maxime Renaux & Jeremy Seewer. Liam Everts will ride in the MXopen class, but it is uncertain if he will ride a 250, 350 or 450cc bike. Liam currently sits second in the MX2 championship, 80 point behind his Italian teammate Andrea Adamo. Lucas coenen will ride in the MX2 class, his twin brother Sacha will be reserve rider. The 16 year old brothers are in their rookie year in MX2, and they both showed very good speed already. Especially Lucas, who has already won his first Grand Prix this year in Indonesia (Almost won the GP of Germany also, but his chain broke late in the second moto).
