Jorge Prado won MXGP race 1 in Uddevalla, Sweden. Romain Febvre took the early lead, but had a small crash, handing the lead to Jorge Prado. Prado controlled the race and finished comfortably in first, ahead of Romain Febvre and Jeremy Seewer. Paul Jonass had a spectaculair return to MXGP, finishing in 4th place, ahead of Glenn Coldenhoff. Jeffrey Herlings, Tim Gajser and Maxime Renaux all had a difficult race, finishing in 8th, 10th & 13th place.
