Romain Febvre won the first MXGP race in Finland, closely followed by Jeremy Seewer and Jorge Prado. Glenn Coldenhoff and Calvin vlaanderen came home in 4th and 5th places. Jeffrey Herlings was running inside of the top 5 at the beginning of the race, but eventually faded back to 8th position. Ruben Fernandez had a huge crash and did not finish the race.
